10.0Stayed here with a friend in preparation for Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge. Check in very easy. Warm welcome. Very hospitable staff. We had to leave the hotel early next morning before kitchen opened but staff left us breakfast (cereals, yogurt etc) out for us which was really appreciated. Also made us sandwiches to take with us. Pub/bar and food was really good. Cosy.

10.0A lovely place, ideally placed for touring the area. Comfy bed, great shower and excellent breakfast. Not intrusive but at the same time Pete and Sue were very friendly. Would definitely stay again in the future.

10.0We loved the historic feel to the property, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. As long as you understand this property is hundreds of years old, you will be in for a unique stay. Very quiet location, we loved it.

8.0Great service, old property so expect noisy floorboards etc. nice toiletries, restaurant menu a little limited but the food was good
