Disappointing room in an otherwise nice place.
6.0The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the proximity to dining, shopping, etc. The facility was reasonably clean.
− We knew that each unit was individually owned and that they were all different. We assumed that all rooms would be comparable to what was pictured on the website, but we discovered that was not the case. We were very disappointed with the furnishings of Room 215, which appear to be a collection of hand-me-downs and thrift store finds. The couch looks to be a recliner at first glance, but it does not recline and was not a comfortable piece. The cheap particleboard shelving unit in the bathroom is literally crumbling and peeling from moisture. The only seating provided for the little deck was a pair of stools, which were cute, but uncomfortable. While the mattress was not bad, the basic metal bedframe was shaky and loud. The unit also needs some paint touch-ups. All in all, we felt like we were crashing at a college kid’s apartment.
