10.0We loved the Thomas Hardy connection, the history and the stories that Chris told us about the location and history. We loved the friendly atmosphere, warm welcome, and we felt more like family than tourists. We loved the room, the location, and the peace and quiet.loved the attention to detail and the sustainable and ecological energy and food production - so inspiring. Loved the garden tour - thank you Sally. There is nothing that we didn't love - and will be visiting again.....

10.0The property is a fantastic old period building and is full of history. Great shared facilities (conservatory and lounge) that an be used in the evening. It's in a nice quiet location with easy access either on foot or by car to Boscastle.
Beautiful house with excellent hosts 😊
10.0A beautiful house with lots of history and hosts that couldn’t do enough for you, from restaurant recommendations to allowing takeaway meals to be eaten at the hotel when everywhere was full. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again.
Lovely place for a few days.
10.0Beautiful old house with amazing garden and very friendly hosts. Lovely breakfasts but no evening food available. Restaurants in pretty village were busy and necessary to book in advance in July.
