Roast dinner in the evening was good, but wouldn’t stay again .

The breakfast room was very cold and my eggs Benedict was served on a stone cold plate which totally spoiled it . No jam or marmalade offered for toast, no extra hot coffee offered.

− We are a husband and wife in our late 80s and were given an attic room up a long flight of steep steps from outside. We had to carry our overnight bags , dog’s bed and dog. We had to go up and down each time we left the room , too much for folk of our age. Also, there was a loud drumming noise that continued until 9.30pm and restarted at 7am. I’m guessing something to do with the kitchen ? At least the room was warm and shower room facilities good .

What a treat to stay in a traditional pub, friendly staff and a stone throw from the beach.

Fantastic location, loved the old building and the pub downstairs. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Very attentive and friendly staff, Aaron in particular. We were made to feel very welcome!

FALSE ADVERTSING: There are NOT "2 bathrooms with shower" - as listed four separate times in the ad!

FALSE ADVERTISING: There are NOT "2 bathrooms with shower" - as advertised in the main page and on 3 other pages within the listing. I'd specifically chosen this apartment over other accommodation because having 2 bathrooms was our top priority. When our family of four arrived we were shocked to find it only had 1 bathroom with shower, and 1 extra toilet. Deceiving travelers into booking unsuitable accommodation is unacceptable and Booking.com should not tolerate such misleading advertisements on the site. We were bitterly disappointed and it made our first visit to Madrid very inconvenient and uncomfortable. When I contacted the host her response was: "If you read further into the 'Description' you will see that it states: '1 bathroom with shower.' NOT TRUE. In fact, I have evidence in the photos attached that the ad lists '2 bathrooms with shower,' on 4 different occasions within the advertisement. After being tricked into booking this apartment, we then discovered we were only given 1 towel each. The host's response was: "We give one towel per guest per stay." What an inhospitable and stingy response for a family with 3 females with long hair - we need another towel if we want to wash our hair! Furthermore, the photos are not a true representation of the apartment (what a surprise), which is tired, rundown and in serious need of maintenance eg; the lock on the toilet was already broken, and the lock on the bathroom with shower broke off during our stay. This is the worst accommodation we've ever had the displeasure of staying in.
