10.0We had a wonderful stay at Vista Oceano Self Catering Apartment in Madeira. There was a lovely atmosphere with such amazing views of the whole island. The apartment was really comfortable, great fan, well-equipped, and in a great location for exploring the island. Ian and his wife were amazing hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and always so patient when answering our questions, offering helpful advice that made our stay even more enjoyable. The beautiful gardens were a real highlight—such a peaceful place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I'd also recommend using Bolt taxis, as Maderia is so hilly, especially for getting back home after a day out, as they were convenient and reliable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Oceano Vista to anyone visiting Madeira. Thank you, Ian and your wife, for your wonderful hospitality! We are looking forward to booking again for another great holiday. Deirdre & Mike

A lovely week in Funchal
10.0We had a lovely week in Funchal and were very happy with our apartment at Vista Oceano. We felt very relaxed whenever at the property, the garden is lovely and the sea view over Funchal is beautiful, day or night. The pool is very clean and inviting. The whole apartment was very clean, it was spacious with a comfortable bed, we slept well. The bathroom has modern fittings and an excellent shower. We walked down into Funchal several times and used Uber (or Bolt) to get back up the hill, a bus stop is also nearby. We would like to thank you Ian and Ceu for your warm welcome, kindness and for looking after us during our stay, we have very fond memories of our trip to Funchal. xx

Madeira is a beautiful island with lovely local people.
10.0The owners of the apartment, Ian and Ceu made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of advice about where to go and what to see on the island. We used the local bus service to go into Funchal, which was very easy and convenient. All in all, the owners where excellent hosts and we were very comfortable with them.
