7.0The general location. The appartment has all you need for a short stay.
− As mentioned the location is generally good. The narrow alleyway it is on is very unwelcoming - a restaurant has a big bottle bank, bins and beer casks there - which are loudly filled in the early hours. When you open the front door you see the grottiest staircase which leads to the appartment. This 2nd negative impression is a bit worrying when you go up the stairs but you are relieved when you get into the appartment, which looks like it does in the pictures. We found the check-in procedure a bit too complicated - uploading photos of passports 3 days before arrival

Ridiculously hot
5.0It was really spacious, clean and had a smart TV. Kitchen was large with most things I needed.
− I was disappointed because I stayed during the heat wave and there was no fan in the property and the windows do not open in the living area and kitchen. I called the property and they said there is nothing they can do and I should check out if I’m not happy and they’d refund me. It was too late by that point to find anywhere else. I don’t understand how they didn’t make provisions, particularly given it’s the second big heat wave of the year. I don’t see how it can be acceptable to not have windows that open. It was also impossible to have a cold shower - it was still far too hot even when turned to the coldest setting. Temperature was unbearable and I honestly don’t think they should have been allowed to let it under those circumstances (no windows, no ventilation). Also just strange that there are no lamps near the bed and you have to walk all the way round to the living area to turn out the light. Also no power sockets by the bed.
Nice location but could have supplied some basic food items tea, milk.

Kindly note the accommodations is accessible via a spiral staircase only. Therefore it may not be suitable for guests with mobility impairment.
Most apartments are fitted with a sani-flow macerator pump in the shower rooms and kitchens, you will experience a noise when the toilet is flushed and water is running.
A damage deposit of GBP 150 is required. The property charges this as a pre-authorization 3 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit or debit card. You will be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be released in full, subject to an inspection of the property.
All apartments will have 2 keys in the corresponding lock box. If both keys are not returned on check out, the full £150 security deposit will be charged to cover the costs of a replacement lock and keys. Should the key(s) be returned following this charge, a £100 refund will be issued. The £50 will be kept as a cost of labor.
