Very friendly pub, with good beer and great food and a comfortable stay.
7.0Brilliant breakfast and evening meals. Comfy beds.
− Shower. It needs a curtain across the bath. Had to mop the floor with a towel after each shower. And perhaps change the head for a less powerful one.

10.0Easy to find and beautifully clean , we stayed overnight. Had scampi chips and peas in the restaurant cooked to perfection, and a free full english breakfast in the morning. The staff were first class. And the cool white sheets were so beautifully ironed. Bed and pillows were super soft and comfy.
− just letting people know that its a pub near a city so its only natural to expect road noise until eveningtime if your window is wide open. But it wasnt a problem i skept like a log.. I just noticed because ive come from a quiet farming village .and i will definately return.
We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely and the food was exceptional.
9.0Breakfast was incredible, large portions just like the dinners we had. We were blown away by the food . The staff were really helpful and welcoming both to myself and my partner but also my dog.
