4.0− The staircase leading up to the attic room felt like it was used for storage with Hoover's left out, travel cots, etc. The room contained a small kitchen (!). All through the night, I was woken each time the motor of the fridge started to run. The ensuite had a sizeable gap running the length of the wall dividing it from the bedroom. Not ideal if I were sharing the room with another. Very hot at the top of the property but unable to open windows due to noise of nearby train station. I arrived to check in with a friend who was staying at a property nearby. I felt I was treated with suspicion as to whether 2 of us were intending to share the room when it was only booked for 1.

− Not great soundproofing between rooms, but that was not an issue for us.

My wife and I have been to the Apple House about 5 times now and we love it.
10.0Breakfast was excellent. The breakfast rooms, were also reasonably spacious. Walking distance to the city centre. But there was also a bus stop outside the Apple House if you preferred to not walk. The Apple house is situated on a main road making it easy to get to
− There is no lift making the upper floors difficult to access if you have mobility issues, however there are 2 ground floor rooms available
