10.0The hotel is at a great location for night life, restaurants, etc. It was super cozy, the hostess was extremally thoughtful, room service was great, the place was always clean - and a great plus was free drinks at the front desk. You cannot ask for a better place to stay in Ciudad Vieja.
− There really was nothing I did not like about FAUNA.

10.0Lovely hotel in the middle of the old city - warm even in the middle of winter when we were there- beds and shower were good and staff were super helpful and pleasant to deal with. Not lift but rooms are only 1 floor up-

Fauna Montevideo is located in a historic building from 1927 and therefore does not have an elevator, so guests must use the stairs to reach the accommodations.
Starting October 1, 2025, the Municipality of Montevideo has implemented a daily tourism tax of US$1 per person per day for all tourists, with a maximum of US$5 per person, to be charged by all registered accommodations.
