Our stay at Longboat Key Club
10.0We had a great time at Longboat Key Club! The resort itself was only to be outdone by the high quality of the staff! Whether you want the beach or the pool you simply walk up and a staff member takes care of your towels, chairs and umbrella! Austin S was ready to greet us at the beach and provided high quality service! Highly recommend!

10.0The location, the facility, and the staff are amazing (I don’t use the amazing description very often). The front desk staff from checking in to checking out are very friendly and accommodating, Herbert S. was excellent. The room we had was beautiful with an excellent view. We had lunch everyday at the restaurant and the service and meals were excellent. The pool and beach staff were very friendly and accommodating making sure all your needs are taken care of. If planning a Florida beach vacation you can’t go wrong at The Resort at Longboat Key Club.
A Really Good Resort
10.0A great location at a very nice beach. Some of the nicest and most efficient restaurant and beach staff you’ll find. Possibly the best housekeeping service we have ever experienced anywhere. They have several restaurants but only one main restaurant on site. Extremely close to St Armands shopping area where there are many nice stores and restaurants. Overall a great experience.

8.0Being a multigenerational group of family and friends attending a wedding, we found the kitchen equipment to be bare basics. There were only six place settings and no frypan which wasn’t ideal when there were multiple children staying. Be aware that nothing is complimentary despite the high price, but overall a beautiful, sprawling property and a wonderful experience.
Not Worth the Cost -Awful Service
4.0This was my 4th time staying here in the past year as we have a child at a local college. Every time we came back it was strictly for the location on the beach. The rooms are average, the service is well below average and they nickel and dime you for EVERYTHING. I'd rather they charge me more per night than constantly insulting us at every turn. To spend over $1000/night and then get charged $30 for an umbrella is ridiculous. The service at the restaurant by the lobby was terrible. Completely ignored most of the night. Our food order at the beach had only half of the items. 20 min before the waitress came around, we told her about the food missing and it took another 30 minutes to get it. We went to the pool at 4pm and the person setting up the chairs wouldn't set ours up cause she was "in clean up mode" because her shift was over at 5. Just not worth it. You can spend almost the same money and stay at The Ritz Carlton nearby with exceptional service.
Amazing resort!
10.0We were invited to an event here in April 2026. The room was beautiful with a view of the gulf and long white beach. The food was very good and the poolside service was excellent. I would return here again and again.
