7.0The staff was excellent. The lady who took care of the breakfast bar was very friendly and went above and beyond helping people. The workers at check in and check out were also very nice. Bed was comfortable. When we told them we were headed to a funeral and were going to take a coffee she poured my husband a coffee and lid. Great staff. Close Parking. It was very hot out, and A/C worked great. Breakfast was typical of hotel offerings in this price range.
− Could not figure out how to work shower (not sure if broken?) so had to take a tub bath. Tub was not slip resistant. The pool was out of order. There was an open hole in bedroom area, possibly where smoke detector or something used to be. I had originally requested on the booking.com site an early checkin since we had to be at the funeral home at 3, we got there at 2, and were first told it would be an extra $30 bc we got there early. I explained I requested it, BC we needed to change from travel clothes to funeral attire. (I was NOT charged the extra on the final bill).
