A Pleasant Surprise
7.0Pleasantly surprised. Although it’s not much on the eyes, inside or out, it was comfortable and affordable. It was kinda close to town but on the opposite side of the road from the beach. We stayed in two other comparable hotels this particular weekend. This one was the “cheapest” and I prepared for the worst as the cops had someone pulled over directly in front of the entrance as we were arriving to check in (under the makeshift banner/sign used to identify the building). A perfect example of why one should not judge a book by its cover. Out of all three, it was by far our favorite. The staff was helpful. The other patrons super friendly and that lil pool didn’t look like much, but it was clean and gorgeous at night. We slept well and saved hundreds. A solid stay that meets the basics at a steal.
− It needs to be spruced up a bit. Add some color to that white cement building. And a real sign is paramount to appear inviting and legit upon arrival. Some nice pool chairs or plants would go a long way… the room decor could use a makeover too. The back gate hanging looks kinda rough… just put some lipstick on that pig! lol
Look for a better option

− Very dated hotel. Felt more like one you rent for an hour vs a trip. The staff was friendly but the hotel was awful.
Sun and salt
10.0Modest room with a great proximity to bars and restaurants. Easy quick access to the less busy portion of the beach. Would definitely stay again!
