Amazing Piazza Venezia Suites

Right in the mix of all the historical sites! We were a quick walk to everything you need to see in a short trip to Rome! The place was actually quite big! Very comfortable, clean, and would 10/10 stay here again!

− The apartment is noisy especially at night so we can hear all the street noise till the morning. It was very hard to sleep with this noise even when we put the ear plugs that we found in the apartment

− The worst experience I’ve ever had with a property. We are a family of 3. The room was dirty. The main bed was so creaky and uncomfortable that my sister hurt her back. We asked for an extra blanket and they got us one with a red stain on it. The bathroom was filthy and the shower box had few hair strands that I had to clean before I take a shower and a wet towel on the floor which’s supposed to be used as a carpet. The water never gets warm enough and when I contacted reception, their response was wait a little longer, other tenants are taking showers too. I have never experienced that in a hotel, aparthotel or an apartment building ever. They provide you with earbuds which was weird until the night came and we couldn’t sleep because of the uncomfortable bed, the unbearable loud noises coming from the streets and the main door to the apartment had a gap underneath that we had to close with a throw. We booked and paid for 4 nights and city taxes for our stay and couldn’t continue past our first night and we checked out super early in the morning and had to book another hotel. We explained our situation to the receptionist and asked for a refund and she told us to wait for the property manager, we met her and she was trying to make us believe that the place was in fact “amazing”, that didn’t work out. We insisted on our refund. Lastly, they told us that they weren’t able to rebook our nights for other people and therefore they cannot refund us with the rest of the nights. They’d only refund the first night, cleaning fees the city taxes. Wouldn’t recommend such a place to anyone and I can’t explain my disappointment with the property and the staff/owner’s response to our situation.
