My Fiesta Americana Condesa All-Inclusive experience was marked by excellent service and great food.
8.0I loved the willing service of those serving food and beverage onsite. And no one was very pushy about selling other services either.
− My room floor got a bit moist when I turned turned the AC down just a bit.
Overall great stay and a nice relaxing place.
9.0We got married at this hotel years ago so really enjoy coming back. The food options are always excellent. Cevicheria was great. Would be nice to have Tuna tostadas on the menu or another fish ceviche option for anyone with shell fish allergies. But the food was really good. Pools are all excellent and the service is always great too. Many of the staff have been there for many years so its clearly a good culture and vibe.
− You need to reserve a lounge chair near the pools very early or otherwise miss out on a good spot. The smoking area is near the lobby bar so the sea breeze takes the smoke into the lobby bar sometimes. Not a big deal but for the non-smokers it would be more comfortable if that didnt happen.
It could be much better
6.0Stayed from July 6–11 with my wife and 6‑year‑old son. The check‑in experience was terrible. The lobby is under remodeling with no A/C, no ventilation, long disorganized lines, and the hotel never mentioned this during booking. Even after waiting until the 3 PM check‑in time, we didn’t get our room until almost 4 PM. The A/C in the lobby and corridors throughout the hotel is also very insufficient. The beach had excessive seaweed every day. They clean it in the morning, but it’s not enough — the seaweed quickly piles up again, making the beach hard to enjoy and causing a bad odor. The room was clean and comfortable, and most staff were friendly. Breakfast and lunch at the buffet were good, and the pizza and ceviche were great. Dinner was disappointing — the Brazilian restaurant had low‑quality food and very few options. The Kids Club was excellent and the highlight of our stay. The staff were organized, attentive, and sent constant updates. Drinks at the pool bars were just okay, and service was noticeably slower unless you tipped extra. We enjoyed parts of the resort, but due to the check‑in chaos, lack of transparency, seaweed issues, weak A/C, and inconsistent service, we wouldn’t return.
Good
8.0The staff in the property was amazing!!! Very kind and helpfully.
− When I arrived to hotel the main entrance was in repair its structure. When I saw this, I thought did a terrible decision, but then when I up to lobby floor was different.
buena
8.0alberca y restaurantes
− q no cumplieron con algunas de las amenidades que prometieron, los mayordomos no te daban acompañamiento, en la habitacion no rellenaron los productos de ducha, no cambiaban los cartuchos usados de la cafetera
Until next time
8.0I was so excited to come back “home” after 2 years, this was my third stay since the first two times were incredible. I always compared other hotels no matter where i went to Condesa and now after what seems like an unexpected management change things have changed a bit. First off when we arrived the main attraction of this hotel is the huge palapa in the lobby, it has deteriorated and is being fixed. After checking in we realized our “oceanfront” room is no longer considered that, this room used to be oceanview but is now being called oceanfront which is very disappointing. I noticed alot of areas say Live Acqua and club members only I guess they are part of the constant hassle to become a member. Honestly the only ones who keep this place alive are the employees(that I noticed many have left)but Im sure they continue to give the best of themselves even though they adapt to the changes. The bar by the pool that had fresh juices is now a shop, thai restaurant is now a brazilian type cuisine, ice cream and crepes are a sushi spot, the spa no longer offers the cold plunge in its circuit which i truly enjoyed. I believe if something is not broke why fix it, but I also understand some changes are needed in order to keep up with demand or just to be versatile. At the end of the day what matters is our experience and what keeps us coming back here in that case avoid changes that will affect returning guests and have our experience decline. Aside from all this, what really broke my heart was my cochinita only being available on Sundays, so the Mexican restaurant isnt open daily and its no longer on the menu. I actually got lucky and found it at the buffet breakfast midweek which made me elated. Even the Cevicheria that used to be my favorite the menu was changed and it tastes different :-( Honestly the highlight of our trip was Ramiro at the buffet who I remember from each visit and goes out of his way to accommodate us always. Yhoana at Robertos Taqueria was also outstanding and Brenda at the spa made my stress melt away with the best massage ever. I didnt get to see Eladio but wishing him all the best always as well. Being able to see the sea turtles at the beach was also an incredible moment, just wish there was more security and guidelines enforced for unruly guests who have no common sense or respect towards wildlife. Entertainment also lacked since I remember on my past trips there were fire shows, acrobatics and other shows to keep guests entertained. All that said, this place holds a piece of my heart and hope to return one day to improvements and the joy it offers!
