10.0Fabulous in every way! Such pretty rooms, with everything you could possibly want or need. A very high standard of cleanliness and facilities, and great snack and drink tray in the room too. The breakfast was gorgeous, amazing organic porridge with berries and honey, and fresh coffee. Karen was an exemplary host. The village shop was handy too!
A great place to stay to explore this park of Yorkshire
10.0A lovely B&B in a village on the way to Selby (to see the Abbey, of course!). Our room had everything we needed, good toiletries, a hairdryer, snacks, the lot. Very comfortable bed. It's on the main road but there's no traffic noise as it's so well insulated. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order (order the night before), with an excellent choice, including different coffees. For dinner, there's a pub, The Crown, five minutes walk up the road, where we had a lovely evening (great food, kind, welcoming staff, big garden). A one night stay but would definitely stay again.
