6.0Very central to St Marks Square etc and close to water taxi stations. Reception area, Bar & Breakfast good. We booked a standard classic room with canal view (Room 1159). Not really 4 star accommodation. The room was small with basic furnishings and lack of storage space. The mattresses overhung the the base of the old bed and the pillows were poor quality. The TV was partially hidden by the curtains either side. The bathroom was ok but the shower cubicle was very small.

10.0I have to rate this hotel a 10/10. We had just flown in from the States after nearly 24 hours with no sleep and arrived absolutely exhausted and drenched from a torrential downpour. When I asked about the possibility of an early check-in, the bellman immediately noticed our situation and kindly took it upon himself to double-check the available rooms. Thankfully, one was ready, and we were able to get some much-needed rest. The customer service was truly exceptional. On top of that, the room was surprisingly spacious for Italy, offered a beautiful view, and was perfectly located near everything we wanted to see. Highly recommend!
