A good base for Capitol Reef
6.0Room was comfortable and check in was quick. The first room we were assigned had no toilet seat so we had to get another one allocated. We enjoyed the sofas near our room as they provided a nice space to relax. We were expecting breakfast and there wasn't any, it was good having the pots of coffee and tea available in the morning. The pool was not available at the published hours so we missed out on a morning swim. It's clear that the hotel is being renovated with new carpets in place.
Would not recommend
2.0Breakfast is no longer included, even though it was listed at time of booking. Rooms are very dated and some furniture was broken or dirty. Heater was not usable on a 7 degree night

10.0Jamal at the front desk was so friendly. If I am to come back to the Torrey area I’ll stay here. Room was super clean. Staff friendly

2.0The furniture was in poor condition. The hallways were noisy as there were large gaps around the door. The front desk person advised guests to “park at your own risk”.
Hotel is fine...needs some minor improvements to raise rating.
6.0Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Capitol Reef NP. The hotel is fine but is a little dated. Our room was clean and spacious and was comfortable. The breakfast was limited (no hot food) but was fine for our needs. Torrey is a small town but the guy on reception recommended some restaurants that were only a short drive away. In reality the hotel probably deserves 3.5 stars, with a little updating it could easily merit 4 stars.
