10.0When we first arrived Chris was so welcoming. He showed us to our room which was beautifully presented and very clean. In the morning we met Liz who was lovely and chatty. Breakfast was perfect. Great selection. Location was excellent for both walking to Bowness and central Windermere.

It was really a good stay , no complaints .
8.0firstly , our arrival was greeted by Chris himself and he showed us to our room , very clean , all very good . The ensuite bathroom is also very clean . The location is superb , we can walk to the main road in about 2 mins and there is a bus stand that can take us to the bus / train station ( bus 599 ) which is about 13 mins away ( from the bus/train station , one can go anywhere ), and we could walk to bowness in the opposite direction where we get to go on the wonderful cruises . There is a pub right opposite , so you can have food any time of the day ,if you don't feel like going to town . Very convenient . The breakfast is nice , the dining area is pleasant , nothing to complain . They are very accommodating , we forgot that we had to leave early the next day as we signed up for the mountain goat 10 lakes tour ( this is a must go , it was superb ) and Liz was saying yes we can make your breakfast earlier . They even let us put our luggage there ( since check out time is 11 am ) and we could store our luggage there till 2 pm.
− The 2nd night was a bit cold and we could not find the switch /thermostat to switch on the heater . So it was quite cold but we didn't trouble our host nor mention anything to them ( it was summer to be fair ) however it was about 12 degrees that night . If you are visiting during the colder months , please ask for instructions on how to switch on the room and bathroom heaters .

9.0it was lovely,the room,the people,the location, the food and it was only a few mins walk into town for food,shops pubs etc,plus the fridge in the room with fresh milk and water was a nice suprise
