Disappointing!

Location

− The overall facility was in disrepair and looked extremely run down, the asphalt parking lot was decomposed, handrails were rusted, steps uneven, the deadbolt on my room was installed upside down and didn't work well, the room looked second hand and smelled bad, there was mold around the caulking by the sink & shower and on the ceiling in the bathroom, Broken tile with a piece missing, stained carpet, there wasn't a coffee pot/Keurig let alone some disposable cups to rinse after brushing. the refrigerator was loud every time it cycled on, not enough pillows and they were flat. The bath towels were tiny and scratchy, the hand towel had make-up on it. The place felt so dirty that we didn't walk around the room barefoot, we purchased a blanket and slept on top of the comforter.

I paid for it online so I was stuck there otherwise I would have gotten a complete refund.

Staff was friendly

− Room was very dirty. Pictures of the property and the rooms online did not match the actual property or rooms. One room had recently caught fire and was condemned right underneath my room. Lots of drug activity.

Literally I can’t believe this place exists in the city I live in

− This place was disgusting there was stains and holes everywhere. Honestly foul. I’m so upset that those were my accommodations

I think that the property is trying to upgrade, and the room we were assigned was just not yet ready

Freshly painted walls, nice window covering and bedspread, beautiful new tub and tiles shower walls, big TV screen and a comfy bed.

− No breakfast; water dripping from light fixture in bathroom; toilet too low, no safety bars in shower nor near toilet; no tissue, clock, or house phone; no washcloths nor hand towels

So sketchy looking, we didn't stay.

− We canceled and left as soon as we got there. The place was dirty, doors busted in, windows boarded up, unsafe people hanging out in the parking lot. Manager approached me while I was trying to park and he couldn't speak English. Not at all as it was advertised, the building didn't even look the same paint color, didn't look like the pictures and it was hidden in a bad neighborhood.

The room itself was quite nice - very clean, large room, quiet heater, adequate blankets.

− Outside, the motel looks super sketchy. One room downstairs had a “not safe for use” poster from the County. The guardrails on the stairs and upper walkway were rusty - though - super cool architecturally (scrub off and treat the rust and put fresh paint on and this place could be an old LA gem)
