10.0My husband and I came up to Lake George for the Fourth of July weekend and checked into the Hilltop Motel on Thursday evening, checking out Sunday morning. From the moment we arrived, Amanda—the owner—was absolutely beyond fantastic. Her warmth, personality, and overall vibe truly made the place shine for us. Owning a business and constantly traveling back and forth to California, we were long overdue for some real downtime. Hilltop was exactly what we needed—cozy, quiet, and relaxing. The pool was lovely, and our room was quaint, spotless, and comfortable. well cared for, and gives you the kind of peaceful, lived-in comfort that makes you feel instantly at ease. Amanda has thought of everything. There’s a full guest kitchen with pots, pans, coffee brewing all day, and anything else you might need. Each room has its own fridge too. You truly don’t need to bring anything but a good attitude and a desire to relax. We loved it so much, we rebooked before we even left—we’ll be back for Memorial Weekend! Amanda is hardworking, honest, and just a joy to talk to. If you’re looking for a place to regroup, reconnect, and just enjoy the quiet beauty of Lake George, definitely check it out. Highly recommended.!
Love the Hillside Motel!
10.0We have stayed at the Hillside Motel several times over the past few years. We love staying here it’s so cozy and comfortable! The price can’t be beat and you’re far enough away from the crowds but close enough to entertainment. We will come back here year after year and this past August 28 2023 my boyfriend, now fiancé asked me to marry him at the Hillside Motel! The motel is a special place to us and Amanda the owner is awesome. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and making our stays there wonderful ❤️
Fine, especially for the $$
8.0Hillside is an older place just north of Lake George Village. The room is small but OK. It has TV & fridge. The shower & bathroom are small but manageable. Amanda is very good! The location is very nice, just off ext 22 of I-87 (Northway)
The Price is Right
10.0The motel doesn’t look like much and yes the fixtures aren’t modern but our room was spotless! great air conditioner, TV and fridge. Each room has a porch with two rockers. Free coffee in the community kitchen. Bring your own hairdryer. The girls that own the motel are very pleasant and accommodating.
Awesome place to stay!
10.0We had such a great time. Amanda was a great host. We had such a great time we are going again next month! Very clean room, fresh towels and linens. Loved having a bbq grill and community kitchen to use while there. Nice that it’s close enough to town, but far enough away. Be sure to visit Martha’s for icecream, Tommy Guns Pizza and New Way Lunch in Warrensburg for food, check out the fish hatchery also as well as Prospect Mountain. Mini golf as well!
Basic motel.
10.0Good value for the price. Not a luxury motel but a nice clean motel for the price. Amanda is a super hostess. We stayed in room 17. Cabin with kitchen. Nice way to save money on meals. Shuttle to village stopped right in front of motel.

The seasonal pool will be open from June to September.
