I've been to many offbeat places but trust me this place has some different vibe, if you want to feel the raw jungle without compromising on your comfort Dera Baghdarrah is the place. And Extra 5 stars for the food. Authentic rajasthani taste. Naveen sa is the great Host. And the best part about this property was they are very eco-friendly there's no plastic bottles no trash.

Nature conservation by tourism. Protecting against poaching and they do maintenance in the area. Perfect for nature lovers that want a nice place to relax. The hosts were very friendly. They gave us clear instructions and tips through WhatsApp beforehand. A walk Safari was included. And we booked a Jeep safari for not much extra. We could see a lot of birds and crocodiles! The food was amazing. Rooms were clean and with the cooler the temperature was very nice. Great wifi. Bring your binoculars and maybe some books to read. Would also be great for a workcation

A great winter vacation at Dera Baghdarrah

The solitude and peace at the location Nature walks and bird spotting with Mr. Naveen and his son Food Helpful staff and cooperative management Our stay was very comfortable and the experience was detoxifying. The staff and the property management were exceptional. Every request and query was promptly addressed. If you're ok with the distance from the city, and are looking for peace, quiet and wish to spend some time with nature with great food and a cozy stay, Dera Baghdarrah is the perfect choice.

A lovely space in the jungle - a very nice team, delicious food and fab tents. A great place to escape while visiting Udaipur. We loved the camp set up, highly recommend this place for a couple of days!

We had the most amazing few days at Dera Baghdarrah. The food was the best we ate in all of Udaipur, and had plentiful vegan options upon our request. The tents were spacious, comfortable and well furnished, complete with hot water and electrical ports! I was a bit unsure as the payment method (razor pay) was not one that is used in the uk, however, it worked absolutely fine. They also recommended a taxi driver, who was punctual and friendly, with reasonable rates. The best part of our stay had to be the beautiful setting, and incredible people. The walks, jeep safari and zip line were a great way to see the reserve as well as some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Naveen‘s impressive knowledge of the local area and wildlife (especially the birds!) made our trip really special and we learned lots. We enjoyed interesting fireside chats with Pankaj, who also provided us with lots the information before the trip, and recommendations for what to do in Udaipur after. The rest of the staff were also really helpful and cooked up great meals. This experience was the highlight of our two week trip to udaipur and we can’t recommend it enough!
