Amazing, unique stay in Kanazawa!

Amazing property. So historic and interesting. Very clean and it had everything we needed. We were traveling with three kids and were so thankful for the washing machine! The owner met us on arrival and took us on a tour of the house. It was so interesting to learn about his family’s history. The owner was helpful throughout and we really appreciated his thoughtfulness. Wonderful stay. We hope to be back someday. Book this property. You won’t be disappointed!

− Nothing. It was great. Just to note that if you have mobility issues you might struggle to go up the stairs to the bedrooms.

The host Mr. Hitty was very pleasant and helpful throughout the stay. The handover was personal and very professional. The equipment was very stylish and met our expectations - accommodation in a historic house, but with sufficient comfort. A big bonus for us was the allocated private parking space. If you are looking for an authentic historical experience and a connection to ancient Kanazawa, we recommend this place.

Really lovely stay, history and proximity made this a 10. Super close to the train was a plus. We also walked to Omicho

The host made this property special. He spent time explaining the history with his samurai ancestors and getting is acquainted to Kanazawa. We even had special sweets he got us to try! If you care about culture, history and Japan - this is a great stay. We also loved eating at Shogun nearby! Great staff and food.

Все было просто идеально! Во-первых, нас никогда и никто так не встречал (это отдельный вид удовольствия). Во-вторых, это настолько невероятные ощущения жить в старинном доме, полном старинных музейных экспонатов! Ты ощещаешь себя перенесенным в другую эпоху — эпоху настоящих самураев. Хозяин дома Хитти — невероятный отзывчивый и любезный человек. Он посоветовал множество классных мест в округе, а также нашел потрясающего учителя по икебане! Мы остались безумно довольны проведенным временем в Каназаве, и, в особенности, в этом уютном доме. Благодарим еще раз Хитти за все и делаем процветания ему и его семье ❤️ Мы обязательно вернемся!

Hetti is one of the most generous and thoughtful hosts we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. He’s taken such care with this property. We appreciated how easy it was to enter the house with its keyless entry. There was a beautiful ikebana floral arrangement that his wife made that was such a nice touch. If you’re looking to stay in an interesting, well-designed place with a great nod to history, then definitely consider staying here.
