Cute place that can use some better furnishings.
8.0It’s super cute, with nice log cabins. The staff were very friendly and the “lodge” was a warm, inviting place to hang out.
− Community bathroom was accessed over uneven slate rock path. Quite a walk in the rain. The pond and grounds were smaller than I expected. Beds were not comfortable.

A unique venue in a hidden corner of Alaska.
9.0Charming setting encircling a small pond with a running stream beside. Very clean facilities, very friendly staff. An overall warm and relaxing environment. The Dirty Skillet on premises restaurant was excellent for dinner. The remote shower rooms were clean and well appointed.
− The website description is not as clear as it could be about the bulk of the cabins being “dry” but the facility was quick to point that out upon booking. In the end, this was no problem, and only added to the charm of the place thanks to clean shower rooms and thoughtful appointments and friendly staff.

− Cabins were dry so nighttime trips to bathrooms were a pain. But the wash/restrooms were beautiful when you got there!
