We left one minute after getting there

− There is no ac and the drive was down a long long dirt road. There was coffee in our coffee pot.

Clean. Secluded

− No air conditioning. No screen in the window. Never did get comfortable all night. I had a warning email 1 day before free cancellation about the lack of air conditioning which I missed (I was busy with other activities of our vacation. The lady in charge said sorry sir and disappeared into the kitchen. I’m sure she didn’t mean it or want to hear complaints. If you don’t mean it don’t say it!! Also paid $33.00 for a rid dinner that was mediocre at best.

Avoid this Hot tent at all costs, A cockroach motel is far better!

It was in the mountains above Lewistown, the food downstairs was good.

− Let’s see, how about the fact that they have no staff that stays there at night time so if you need to check in past 5 o’clock at night, you’re pretty much screwed so be aware of that if you do book this place, if you’re expecting a place with AC I would book somewhere else. Matter of fact I would book a cockroach motel over this lodge just for the fact that a cockroach motel probably has AC. The rooms were hot like 80° plus hot and with no AC in modern times that’s ridiculous. They give you 25$ fan from family dollar to cool off; Oh, and the last thing you can hear your neighbors stomping above your head everywhere at night. I don’t know if it’s bad flooring or if they literally have like a jamboree of people going on above upstairs jumping around, but you can hear literally everything to the point that it makes you wanna scream and you can’t sleep at night so honestly, I would avoid this place at all cost unless the owners are gonna actually fix this place up. I spent 309$ plus 50$ food and it’s honestly not worth the price. If the owners magically see this, fix your lodge dude no AC is beyond ridiculous, I booked a lodge not a hot tent!!

The lobby check-in area and restaurant appeared clean and nice. The location was beautiful.

− It did not appear the carpet in the room had been cleaned. It was very warm in the room making it hard to sleep and the fan was not sufficient.

Great location, mostly pleasant stay

The location was great! A beautiful drive to the mountains and the view from our balcony was amazing. The bed was comfortable, and the room was more unique than a hotel. Great that they had breakfast in the morning.

− The hot water was lukewarm at best an the water pressure was low, our microwave didn't work, and I'm not sure the floor had been vacuumed well. We knew there wouldn't be AC, but we didn't know there wouldn't be a window to open. A box fan was provided, but a ceiling fan would have been better.

The food was excellent--both dinner and breakfast. Common areas were great. Lovely location.

− Minor mix ups and housekeeping needed a little work--not that it was unclean, but some missing towels and left over coffee in coffee maker. Easy fixes.
