the breakfast was decent, but choice of eggs was hard boiled only, had good toast, seating was fine, location was fine

− possible choice of eggs instead of just hard boiled. the orange juice was not available both days of our stay. I didnt know our room was 5 steps up by stairway, after the 2nd flour elevater, as we had to unload our bags off the cart provided, and climb the 5 steps up with our luggage, which wasnt easy to do for a couple of seniors. Certainly other than the few challenges we faced, we had a excellent stay.

Room carpet was soaking wet, pooled out when stepping on, dog hair in every drawer and throughout the room. Room amenities were lacking. No hair dryer, room courtesy coffee was not stocked. Hassle upon arrival because I booked a pet friendly room online and was charged but not available when we arrived. Was sent to the room with our dog anyway with an approval, just had to pay pet deposit, then after being in the room and seeing the conditions, having the front desk clerk come and verify the soaking carpeted room, and copious amounts of dog hair, was thwn asked by management to pay an additional $250. Management then took their time responding to the clerk, that we did not agree with their request as we had been sent into the room with our dog before that request and because the condition of the room. Upon checkout we were still charged for the night stay and the pet fee. We should have been comped at the very least. No one else would have stayed in the room and it was 9pm before everything was settled and with 2 small children, a senior, a dog, and myself it would have been a hassle to up and leave and then check in somewhere else.

we will not stay there again. we have stayed there many times over the years.

this hotel has deteriorated and is in need of upgrade and repair. mold in the shower , shower curtain broken, sink plug was stuck in closed position. Breakfast was supposed to be open until 10:30, by 10:00 Coffee and cream were gone etc..

− needs an upgrade from a two star rating
