Great location, not the best value but I blame that on the lack of options on Catalina.
8.0Wasn't as terrible as the reviews would suggest. Was fine for sleeping although basic. Location was great and was the cheapest option on the island but even then we definitely paid more than we typically would for this type of hotel.
− Price did not match the room that we actually got which was a small bunk bed room.

10.0Location is great , rooms are clean and organized , staff super friendly and helpful
− Hotel needs an elevator expecially if you are in 4th floor and rooms need microwaves
Two small and bad placement of decor
3.0Close to main shops
− The room was way too small. The fixtures were placed on the wall obstructing the area for sleeping. The toilet was running and we had to fix it ourselves because the staff was gone at 9:00 p.m. .

6.0Great location. Staff are friendly. You can store bags there anytime after checking out. Room is clean
− Room is extremely small. Bathroom is so small that don’t even have room for sink, so sink is right on top of your head bed. No space to move. Only one person can walk in between the bed and the bathroom. I understand it’s a tourist island but price is too high for an inn with the room that extreme small.
It could have been better.
4.0The hotel was walking distance to major street and the beach and near stores. That's about it.
− This is the second time coming to Catalina Island and this is the first time staying on the Island. Ive stayed in Hotels before North of California to South of California and check in is 3pm and yet this hotel is 4pm? and no one is at the desk until 8am. Its our first time at this hotel and I did ask a day ahead of time if we could check in earlier then 4pm and they said they would call if there was availability and each time was NOT with customer service considering its an Island that survives off tourist and you as a company want your first time customers to have a great overall experience and just to kind and nice it doesn't cost anything to be nice. I called several times to see if the room was available the reason I called because I would lose signal on certain spots on the Island and It wouldn't show me if I had missed calls and I just wanted to make sure if they called me and It didn't go through. I called twice and each time was just rude like they literally don't like working there. They just sat at the desk with no smile. And they have signs posted "quiet times are from 10pm to 8am" our neighbors and other guests there were super loud during those times, and it was unrealistic considering Catalina is full of bars everywhere you turn and free access to alcohol anywhere. To many rules and Limitations for a hotel with paying $300 for one night and the service from the front desk employees NEED to be ALOT BETTER. they need a meeting on hospitality and customer service. to end this off they showers weren't clean. there was hair from the previous people before. so, we waited an hour extra to check in for it to not be fully sanitized. AND the TV doesn't even work, turn it on the you hear sound but no picture. I did not want to call front desk because they were going to be rude anyways and I'm on vacation paying $300 not be treated with disrespect but did anyways.
My wife and I will never go back to this hotel let alone the island save your money go somewhere else for the amount of
1.0Not a single thing.
− Beds from the 90’s, sunk in and the worst most u comfortable bed I’ve ever laid on in my life. The view they show you in the pictures isn’t even close to reality. The entire hotel smells like mold. Feel sick from just being there.
