Excellent value for the price.
10.0I’ve been here several times and this hotel never disappoints. The check-in process is great; although some people complain about it, I feel it is great. They have been renovating some rooms, and the room I had was excellent and very clean. The breakfast is good, although I feel it was a bit better in the past. The location is fantastic—the street out front takes you straight to the beach. Even though it is not on a main avenue, it is very close by car to restaurants and entertainment.
Don't even bother unless you have no problem with intrusive scans.
1.0Nothing went well. There was no physical staff in the office, only a kiosk where you could register. I was not told in the literature that I would have to scan my driver's license. It was in my possession, but I have a privacy issue with the scan. I was told that if I didn't scan, my registration would be cancelled. That is exactly what happened. I was charged one night's stay, even though they cancelled.
− I did not like the impersonality of the staff, nor did I like the idea of a mandatory scan. If this is their policy, it should have been clearly stated when I reserved. I lost money because this was not stated, and it is not right that this happened.
