A Winter Family Holiday In Struisbaai 🌊
7.0We had a lovely stay at Mermaid Guesthouse. Mimi and the rest of the staff that was there with her was so friendly and kind. Wish everyone could have Mimi's kind and patient disposition. The Guesthouse is walking distance from the beach, shops and restaurants. It is also not far from the harbour. The stairs were steep so we were thankful to have the room downstairs. Our room (room 9) was quite small for us but nevertheless we were satisfied. It was so beautiful to see the sunrise in the mornings from the room. The electric blanket and heater was perfect in the evenings as well. The fridge was fully stocked with goodies that you need to pay for if you eat or drink from it. Once again, thanks to Mimi for accomodating us so nicely. Last but not least the town itself is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you Struisbaai! ❤️

Good enough for a one night stay

− Too much furniture in the rooms. Less of a sea view than expected. Although a bar is shown on the photos, it is not open at night ( or ever). Rooms need to be modernised. Extremely small bathroom.
