A long time favorite of ours but it wasn't broken, so why did they fix it?
8.0The location in the Place des Vosges is very special. That we are in Le Marais is also a plus. There are great restaurants and shops, etc.
− We have stayed here many times. The changes that have been made for the breakfast and honor bar spaces we didn't like. It was better before with an honor bar and library that were used for breakfast in the morning. This time, our room was on 2 floors which we didn't know until our arrival. It as inconvenient with the bathroom downstairs and bedroom upstairs. Also, there was a tub with a shower and not a walk in shower and no separate space for the toilet. Very outdated for luxury hotels these days. This has been my first choice for a hotel in Paris for years. To keep staying here, I'll need greater detail regarding the room we are assigned and if they don't have what I've outlined, I may just need to find a new favorite hotel in Paris!
