Welcoming well appointed house
8.0The quiet, the fact that we were provided with everything we needed for breakfast. On site parking was easy.
− We didn't find the beds that comfy but everyone has different preferences. The shower in the downstairs bedroom was slippery. A hand rail would be a good idea.
Met our needs and very good stay
9.0Everything we needed
Lovely break, people, accommodation and setting
10.0We loved how the house was laid out and it was beautifully finished. It was a perfect blend of modern finishes and facilities while keeping the old history of the house. It was spotlessly clean too and the farmhouse setting with the free roaming chickens and lovely views. While located a in small village it was near to main road routes and Yeovil for Convenience. The host Lisa was so friendly, accommodating and provided plenty of information on things to see, places to eat etc. She even provided food supplies for a cooked breakfast (including eggs from their chickens), bread, jam, marmalade, cereal, tea, coffee, milk and juice so no rush to get food supplies. Wre had 2 cars for our 3 night stay and the property had plenty of parking space which was great. We also chatted to Fred who was restoring a few classics as we own a few too and we're visiting Haynes Museum which was only 15 mins away. All in all it was a fabulous break, the weather, accommodation, setting and hosts all contributed to this and we will definitely return.
− There was nothing we didn't like except that we wished our stay was a bit longer.
