− Couldn't have the breakfast i wanted as you had to pay £5 extra..the milk in my room had gone off so couldn't have tea in my room..the room was noisy due to being by external AC unit ..it was not worth what i paid
Exactly as the website very enjoyable short stay.
10.0Location, polite and friendly staff, well stocked bar with a good selection of real ales. The room was very clean and plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc a very nice outside area at the front of the Clothiers.No noise just people enjoying themselves.
− Nothing, I would be hard pressed to think of something I disliked.
Overall we enjoyed the Clothiers, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Evening meals were lovely

− Although cooked English breakfast was good, the eggs Benedict and boiled eggs were over done.

8.0Room was nice, fan provided for the heat, breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Staff were very nice.
− Pub did get a bit noisy and the road outside was busy even with the roadwork going on. Shower was minuscule. Weird hanging rail for clothes. Really needs a fridge in hot weather.

6.0Location was good. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was lovely.and the complementary bottles of water were a nice touch.
− We had a twin room which was the only one available and was above the pub which wasn't a problem. The room could use with being updated especially the bathroom. The rooms in the other part of the pub are much nicer. The TV remote didn't work and there were a significant number of flies in the room when we arrived.
Good to know
Please note the Twin Room with Shower and Standard Double Room are located in the older part of the building and are only accessible by stairs and through the bar. This means that guests in these rooms need to be back on the premises before the bar closes.
As these rooms are above the main bar you should expect some noise in the evenings. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
