9.0The staff was amazing, the breakfast plentiful and the room, even though small and with a private bathroom just across the hall, had everything I needed. I am so sorry to have asked for extra towels when the were actually in the bathroom. The location is directly on one of the busiest streets od Carmarthen, 10 min away from the Wetland Park and 20 min from the Reservoir which you should totally check out for a relaxing evening stroll. Only 8 min to the train station downhill!
− The black fan in the room was full of dust. Plenty of breakfast options to choose from, also a vegetarian full English. Somehow, even though I was the only guest this early, a not vegetarian saussage made it onto my plate so I had to leave it. The rest was very tasty though and set me out nicely for the day.

− The window wouldn't stay open (broken latch) but there was a fan so that helped with the heat.

8.0Didn’t have time for breakfast. Double bed in twin room was excellent.
− Aircon would have been good but the fan provided was a reasonable solution.
Great location for a visit to Carmarthen, clean, comfy, warm atmosphere.
10.0We found our room at the Rose and Crown to be roomy, well appointed, nicely decorated and clean, the bathroom was also a good size, bed was super comfy. Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the dinners we chose to have on site as well. The staff were friendly and helpful, we'd definitely stay again.

The rooms are soundproofed but guests should expect town center noise, especially at the weekend.
