Owner is very friendly and helpful, he cleaned entire property for us during our stay. Nice pool, big rooms and good en-suites. Location is about 25 minute walk to main strip of unawatuna

Breakfast was not an inclusion with this booking. The accommodation met our expectations. Our host was very obliging. The pool was outstanding and in a beautiful condition. Overall, a very comfortable stay. Thank you

− Some of the facilities needed attendance: the kettle wasn't working, crockery/pots and pans were very old, having said this we didn't need to use them but if we did, it would be an issue for us. Bedrooms were perfectly airconditioned; however, the main living space was very hot due to the open roofline.

Beautiful house, very peaceful and spacious. Well maintained. Close to beaches and restaurants.

− Communal areas did not have air con, very hot when we were visiting. In the heat need to take a tuk tuk to beaches. Host was very responsive and helpful.

An extraordinary accommodation! From the entrance to the courtyard, we realized that it was a special building, like a mansion, with a special architecture. Both the house and the garden were very well maintained, with trees and flowers, the most well-kept garden in Sri Lanka out of the 8 accommodations. The owner, a special gentleman, attentive to every detail, did everything to make us feel good. At this accommodation, we saw peacocks, squirrels, monkeys and many kinds of birds. It was a joy! I sat on the veranda for hours and watched the squirrels play, how brightly colored birds come. A big plus was the kitchen equipped with everything you need. The double living room, just like in a boyar's house. We had hot water all the time, as well as drinking water at our discretion. The pool was cleaned daily. By Tuk Tuk to Unawatuna Beach cost 240 rupees, not a dollar. And to Gale Fort 2.5 dollars. The building is located on an alley away from the noise of the main road. I would come back anytime!

What we experienced here was primarily privacy and freedom, which we truly appreciated. Unlike our previous destination where our privacy was frequently interrupted, this stay felt calm and respectful. The villa was well equipped and comfortable, though a few improvements would help — particularly the plumbing and adding more Sri Lanka–standard wall sockets. The nearby beach, which is the main attraction, was unfortunately very disappointing, with limited public access and facilities. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The villa is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. The pool is so refreshing, comfy beds good ac. Great location and there are nice walks to jungle beach and close to cafe and restaurants. Well stocked kitchen and the garden is so beautiful, also we were the only guests so we had the place to ourselves for a unbelievable price, I throughly recommend staying here we were sad to leave.

− The only thing I didn't like was that all the doors drag against the floor or door frames. which makes a horrible noise and sometimes difficult to open, could be easily fixed just by trimming a few cm of the bottom of each door. Apart from that, the place is amazing.
