The views were absolutely beautiful. The beach view amazing, the evening sunsets each night, the animals on the farm were a joy to wake to in a morning. The sheep, horses and the chicken popping in and out to say hello. It literally had everything I could think of, a real home from home.

There is a steepish walk down to the beach and again back up hill if you’re of poor mobility or not the fittest like myself. Although was worth the trip each time as it’s a beautiful beach. We were there during extreme heat and had back to back high temperatures. Unfortunately, this became uncomfortable for us as the lovely glass view from the window is at the front of the property allowing the sun to shine through all day and it became very humid, despite us leaving the doors open to let the heat out and a breeze to come through. The host had provided a fan to try and keep it cooler and understandably, this length of heatwave for the UK is unusual.

The views and the location were stunning. The horses were friendly. The hosts Jan and Mick were there if you needed something, but they were in no way intrusive. The whole stay was wonderful!
