6.0Note: There are THREE Doubletree branded hotels near SFO. We picked this one due to the parking package. The hotel itself is okayyyy. But it’s the experience that makes or breaks the stay. Shuttle was efficient, check in okay. Room a bit shabby with incredibly dirty windows for the bay view. Breakfast so absurdly expensive that the F & B credit barely makes a dent. The next day, we skipped breakfast and just got pantry items with the credit; was not removed from the bill at checkout. Further follow up was needed. Retrieving the car was similarly challenging. Arrived late. Got to car. Pressed button told the person that I was a parking package guest. Waited. Waited. Waited. Only when I pressed again as the shuttle was behind me trying to get out did they open the gate. Sigh.

9.0Really convenient location with regular airport shuttle services. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well appointed rooms. Due to initial issue obtaining booked room, was generously given an upgraded room with a bay view. Thank you!
− Family member reported yellow coloured water out of taps when initially turned on. It clears up shortly after. Explanation was that this was due to renovation work occurring at the time. Think that due to customer safety, greater precaution is needed to prevent these types of occurrences.
