6.0Room was advertised as double but was in fact a single, it was a good job I was on my own, rather expensive for a single room

2.0Would have been 5/5 however not hot water for the entire stay. When we asked we were told the water had been turned on however it hadn’t. We then were offered a full refund and a week later I see money has been taken from my account with no approval for 50% of the room. Really wanted to recommend this place as it could be so lovely but staff and service really lets it down!

8.0Be aware that the room we were in wasup some very tight,steep with a twist stairs. No good if you have any mobility issues. Room was an annexed builing a 5-10 min walk from The Bell but it's literally in the centre of Stow so a great location. The Mrs wasn't so impressed with the access and the spiderwebs so i decided not to mention the urine stains on the toilet rim. I choose not to complain as overall i was happy with the room

10.0We stayed for 2 nights, the room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, lovely fluffy towels in the bathroom. We had breakfast included in the room rate which was really good. Would definitely stay there again.

10.0How can you not like a place where the rooms are named after animals? If I had a choice I'd have gone for dormouse, owl or stag, but Pheasant was good too. It was cosy, and the bed was comfy. And there was a bookshelf on the landing which was perfect for bookworms like me. I ate in the pub, and had the tastiest bangers and mash that I've had in a long time. Would certainly recommend.
