Peaceful in Nature

Great Vacation in the Bush!
10.0We had reservations for three nights but we had such a good time we wish we could’ve stayed longer. The owners were terrific! Rose was so great at organizing things for us and having great ideas for each day and night. Her meals were terrific and both Rose and Mike enjoyed cooking and having good conversations about the area and knowledgeable about everything. There are several great nature reserves surrounding the area and they will arrange nature drives or if you like to go out and explore on your own they will direct you to the reserves that allow you to do that. The best thing is that the lodge is comfortable and the rooms are excellent that you can just relax and do nothing but watch the wildlife and birds while you enjoy excellent food, drink of choice, and walk around the lodge area OR even have an excellent massage in your room. Amazing place with superb service and food
10.0Had an amazing stay with my dad while visiting my sister! The place has newly (and beautifully!) been redecorated. The food was absolutely amazing and I need to send a massive thank you to the owners Mike and Rose for making our stay so incredible. If you go for a game drive (safari) ask for Stuart. He showed us so many animals and is a great tracker. I'd definitely recommend this characterful place to anyone wanting to visit the area. I'd also recommend you try rose's treatments. They are amazing too!
