An absolute Gem of Galloway
10.0Lovely grounds, beautifully clean and well cared for. Lodge was warm and clean and was very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Loads of hot water!

8.0It was a nice wee cabin. Location good
− Tv wasn’t working. Phoned them to be rudely told, well it’s not an emergency, they came at 9am the day we left and the man said I’ll come back later when you’re away to fix it. It wasn’t an emergency but you’re paying the money for it, after a great night we wanted to just chill at the end with a wee movie before bed and we couldn’t do that. The beds were a little on the hard side for us but I understand that’s personal choice.

10.0Everything Was perfect location and very comfortable accommodation. Nice treat having relaxing hot tub. Also great having a free laundry onsite that was really useful

9.0Easy walking distance to centre of Newton Stewart but in a quiet location at it's edge. A clean, well maintained site, quiet, private lodge was lovely, clean, comfortable and love the hot tub. All the basics provided eg towels, toilet paper, washing up liquid, a few dishwasher tablets, dish cloths, some big bin bags, shower gel. On site self-service laundry had everything including washing powder. That's where you'll also find tons of books, DVDS, games etc.
− Could have done with a few small extra bin liners for the bathroom bin.
