Great stay
10.0Love this hotel. Staff was great and helpful. Will stay here again.
Amazing staff
10.0We recently stayed at Anaheim Resort & Suites for 4 nights in a King Suite, and overall we had a wonderful experience. On our first night, we met Kristina at the café/bar. She made me one of the best Americanos I've had, and her kindness and welcoming personality immediately made us feel at home. Her customer service was exceptional. The pool area was one of the highlights of our stay. I'm very picky about pools, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. The main pool was refreshing, the water slides were pleasantly warm, and the hot tub was both huge and actually hot! The security staff at the pool entrance did a great job keeping the area organized and safe. While I wasn't a fan of the rule restricting outside food—especially since our family typically brings simple snacks like fruit, yogurt, or crackers and cheese—the staff enforced the policy with kindness and professionalism. Each morning we enjoyed the continental breakfast, which exceeded our expectations. The coffee was always hot and fresh, and the make-your-own waffles quickly became my favorite. There was also a great selection of eggs, hash browns, pork sausage, turkey patties, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and oatmeal. The staff worked hard to keep everything stocked and fresh. One employee in particular made our mornings special: Edith. We were in town to watch our middle school marching band perform, and talking with her each morning about our trip and the students was such a highlight. She treated everyone with genuine warmth, kindness, and respect. Seeing her each day made the hotel feel more like home, and I truly looked forward to our conversations. At checkout, we experienced some issues with hot water due to ongoing renovations. Mario at the front desk took great care of us and handled the situation professionally and compassionately. There were a few things I didn't love—the pool food policy, occasional hot water issues, the lack of a dresser in the room, and not having plates or silverware available in the suite. However, the outstanding service from employees like Kristina, Edith, Mario, and the security and breakfast teams more than made up for those inconveniences. Because of the people who work here, we will absolutely be back. Thank you for making our stay memorable.
Sweaty Gym Socks
2.0We expected so much more according to reviews. Sad to say, its one of the worst resorts we've ever stayed at. The wait for a room alone was terrible. We called hours ahead to pay for an early check in since we have a son...but when we got to the hotel, rooms were not ready until actual check in time. Very unfortunate for us. Also, when we FINALLY were allowed to check in, the room smelled horrible. The carpet was super dirty. We didnt even think to walk around without socks. Also, our son brought his PS5. He was so excited to connect on downtime, but no...this resort specifically told us the hotel does not allow it. Really? A high class resort and the resort doesnt have it? Wow...we even offered to pay extra if we could get some kind of connection..but to our dismay, nothing. It really put a hankering in our vacation. Just the whole experience was awful...we thought being a nice resort, we'd have a better experience....nope...we couldn't wait to leave..being on vacation for two whole weeks, you best believe we were eager to check out the same day but the family was already tired of waiting aaalll day just for a room, we might as well stayed, which we did but couldn't wait to check out the next day. Also, the rooms really need air freshener in them of some kind. I know plenty of resorts whom use really nice air freshners so when guests walk in their room, it wont smell like sweaty gym socks. Rooms need to be inviting....overall, we would never book at Anaheim Resort Suites again....
Very disappointing
2.0Room was extremely small even for just two people. Had to shimmy by each other to move around. Beds are on those terrible wooden platforms that stick out past the mattress. We were constantly running our legs into them. The bed platforms were so slick that the mattress would slide off every time you got on it. My husband had to hold the mattress in place just so I could get in the bed. Might not be a problem if you’re taller, but for short people it definitely is. Extremely low water pressure in the shower. Sits right next to the busy freeway. We heard traffic noise all night long. Breakfast had a decent variety of food but not very appealing and wasn’t good tasting. Scrambled eggs tasted like only egg yolks. Oatmeal was thick and dry. Rooms were dark and dingy. Very little light. Not very updated. With so many other choices in the area, I’d choose something else in the future. Staff wasn’t overly friendly or helpful.
Your kids will enjoy it, you will not.
4.0the hotel experience started well as i was greeted by a smiley face and checked in quickly. perfectly CHEAP hotel for families and i was with family members However, there were problems with the room and i called the front desk 3x. first time i asked about the CRAPPY internet the quote was "there is nothing we can do, this is the only internet we have" I am hard of hearing so i put close captions on the TV, the TV shut off every 20-30minutes and would restart on the weather channel and i had to rest the captioning and find the channel i was watching. Come to realize the TV shut down was timed with the internet shut downs. Call down to talk to manager, i was told they would call me back (come to find out manager was not even on property and did not return until yesterday) i was being lied to. there was more connectivivty issues, called again , was lied to again. The front desk is trained to deflect irrated guest calls from the managements attention it seems. Seen this before. The hotel definitely shows it age. your kids will enjoy it. You will not!!!
Don’t waste your time
4.0From the get go my experience was tarnished. I had called prior to my stay and received wrong information about parking and fees associated with it. Never in all my years traveling been given wrong information about fees charged but been charged for parking at check in when every other hotel takes it out of the incidental deposit. Secondly never have I had a hotel that takes a $200 deposit for incidentals per night. Not even Vegas takes that much. Then after dinner, the parking garage was broken and we couldn’t get back in and security came over and they couldn’t even get it to work. Hotel left such a sour taste in my mouth I didn’t even get to have the “free” breakfast as I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I would never stay here again.
