Worst experience in my life!

The 1st room we were assigned smelled like human feces. The next room had holes in the furniture with stain worn off; AC was so loud it kept us up all night. Bathroom light was dim, fan squealed, walls were filthy, wood trim had stain worn off. Pool was green and hot tub was out of order. Breakfast had old apples and hard pancakes. There is a large dump of old furniture and lamps on one side of the property visible from the parking lot. Another guest had a very large dog off its leash. The front desk was not concerned about safety for people or our dog's safety. The security door did not lock on one side of the property, and the other side had a homeless encampment. Our credit card was overcharged as what our receipt stated.

Cannot recommend unless updates are made

− Side entrance door did not lock, our room door had to be pulled shut hard to latch. Hairdryer functioned but was cracked, should be replaced. Bathroom caulk looks awful, worst towels I’ve seen in years

Horrific Experience _ Do Not Stay Here

Arrived in Eagle after being down in Aspen. Believed I was booking on the Wyndham site, turns out it was a Third Party Site. Arrived at the property on 5/31 at 4pm. There was not a single car in the entire parking lot. The property appeared to be closed or condemned. I went in through the front doors and there was a person at the desk. I explained my reservation about staying at this property given what I saw. (There was furniture from the hotel sitting outside the entrance) picture attached. I explained I didn't think I was going to stay and he allowed me to check the room. Simply not great at all with a horrendous odor. Went back downstairs asked for a reimbursement. (I am Lifetime Platinum Marriott Member with 7900 nights) He stated he would not reimburse me. I left and called the Third Party Booking site. They called the hotel, the hotel clerk still would not release the charges. So today, I contacted Wyndham Customer Care who said it will likely take a week to review. Upon getting to my next property the clerk informed me this property has recently had bed bugs as reported by guests who have left and further, they have a history of cancelling peoples reservations who arrive after 9pm without notification. This is a terrible operation and in all of my years I have never seen anything like this hotel. It looked like it should be condemned. Geoff Ballotti and the Wyndham Team should be embarrassed to allow this to be called a Wyndham Property.
