worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in

Location was close to town and was literally the only thing about it that was any good...I guess I can give them a point for a functioning air conditioner as well. That place should be condemned and they should be ashamed to take people's money with what they have to offer

− We had to go buy or own toilet paper, it smelled strongly of cleaner/air fresheners but you could still smell stale smoke as well to the point of making my eyes water, the door had clearly been kicked in at some point, the jam and trim boards were in pieces and had been screwed back on and we could barely get the deadbolt to lock, no shades on any of the lights, the carpet was filthy, no comforters on the beds, broken box springs, shower was gross, staff was not in during posted office hours, people were living there so we had to walk past a string of smelly dirty people lounging in plastic chairs watching us like some sort of side show to get to our room, on the pictures of the motel from the booking site they edited out their weekly rates available sign which is usually and indicator of a "residential" motel so this seemed intentionally deceptive...petty sure we were the only people staying that didn't live there

We booked 2 nights and left first thing the first morning.

The location was great, the owner was doing her best.

− This motel has much potential but no one has invested in it in a very long time. If you are traveling for work and just need a place to crash it's doable. If you are traveling with your family, or you are a germaphobe this is not for you. Air conditioning has 2 settings on(loud) and off. The table lamp was unplugged so the air could be plugged in. the tv is plugged into an extension cord with 3 other things on the table top. There was no remote. The lamps over the beds ( circa 1958) are so high I had to stand on the bed to turn them on, but they also were not plugged in . Just a really rough place with so much potential.

Not much!!!!

− The entire room. Everything was none functional. Lights, tv remote, had to turn off with buse bar power strip. Door appeared to have been opened by the local S.W.A.T team, door jam was all busted out. There were plenty of towels if you were brave enough to climb into the scary shower. There were no Kleenex in dispenser but on their website it did state that the room came with toilet paper. There was a huge stain on the bed spread. There was no soap of any kind to wash your hands. The local spiders 🕷️ displayed their cobwebs above one bed. The dresser apparently had a broken drawer, so someone removed it and got rid of it. The best part was the room key that said “Hilton” hotels. 🤣

Nice owner. Rooms were clean. Lots of junk sitting around the property. Room smelled like smoke.

Manager was excellent, knowledgeable about everything in the area. Manager was kind and friendly. Manager runs a wonderful little place and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a place for a night, week or month! Price was great and place was clean and walking distance to many attractions!
