Fabulous hotel with fantastic views
10.0Beautiful location looking over the lake, very comfortable bed, great shower and very clean. Fascinating history and lovely retained character. Staff were very welcoming, service and food was first class. Didn't experience the spa however Sitting on the veranda at sunset... couldn't be better.

− If I was being picky I would say certain areas could use a rub down and a coat of paint, but we loved our stay regardless

− All staff but one were great, the one server at breakfast ignored me when I asked for butter. The bed room was very firm, the light bulbs flickered, and the TV had glowing spots where it wasn't working properly.

− Pas de climatisation ni de ventilateur. La vue « campagne » depuis la chambre est en réalité une vue sur le parking. Bruit de la ventilation des cuisines (jour et nuit)

Please note that hotel residents are charged GBP 15 per person for 2-hour entry to the Spa Thermal Suite.
Due to essential maintenance the thermal suite facilities will be closed from 3pm on 28th June - 11am on 4th July. Spa treatments will still be available to book during this time.
