Great place to stay, would recommend

The host Carlos was very approachable, he was also fluent in English which was very helpful. The room itself was comfortable but quite cold at night with no heaters; the bed itself was warm however and there were multiple quilts available. There was complimentary tea (including coca tea) provided in the lobby and there are common areas for guests to sit down and socialise, with a nice homely atmosphere. There is also a beautiful view of the Cusco skyline from the common area.

− The showers were a bit inconsistent especially with hot water – water pressure was not the strongest, and sometimes the hot water would cut out halfway and take a few mins to return. Location was convenient – the main square was about 15 mins walk away – but there were a lot of stairs going up and down to the property, which might be difficult for those with mobility issues.

Trotz der vielen Treppen bis zum Guesthouse und der ausschließlich vorhandenen Treppen im Haus hat sich der Aufstieg absolut gelohnt. Der Ausblick über Cusco ist einfach traumhaft – sowohl vom Balkon als auch von der wunderschönen Dachterrasse. Das Guesthouse hat viel Charme und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen: Es gibt eine heiße Dusche, einen Föhn und alles, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Gastgeber. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, sehr hilfsbereit und hat sich hervorragend um alle Anliegen gekümmert. Ich kann dieses Guesthouse uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen – vor allem für alle, die den fantastischen Ausblick und das besondere Flair zu schätzen wissen.

The view from this hotel is absolutely breathtaking and worth every step of the climb. Waking up to such a beautiful panorama of Cusco was one of the highlights of my trip. The room was comfortable, there was always hot water, and despite the cool nights, I was never cold thanks to the warm blankets provided. What really made the experience special was the owner. He contacted me before arrival, gave clear instructions on the best way to get there, and was always available to help with any questions. Exceptional hospitality! The hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would happily stay here again. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to walk up some stairs to reach it, but the incredible view makes it 100% worth it.

Blissful Stay

Carlos was an amazing host from start to finish. He assisted me with getting a taxi from the airport and helping with luggage storage when I went to Machu Picchu which was a big weight off my shoulders. His property also boasted amazing views of the city center which was absolutely magical.
