Beautiful Grounds
8.0This was too quick of a getaway with just one night- the grounds were beautiful
Highly recommend even as a family with young children!
10.0The entire staff was very kind and welcoming. They made sure we were taken care of from beginning to end. Food at Bob’s was excellent! Our kids felt right at home because the atmosphere is extremely kid friendly! I would recommend Omni to anyone!!
Stay away
3.0Not all OMNI resorts made the same. Location is not bad
− Service. I was being ignored with all my requests. Nobody showed us to the room. Took us 20 min driving around to find it. Electricity did not work on arrival. Contacting them over email did not work had to drive to the front desk to get an engineer to fix it. They try to get out of cleaning our room. Texted us to opt out of it for charity. After cleaning they left folded rug in bathroom remaining folded. Only towels were replaced. They gave us 2 creamers for 3 people. When I asked for more. Front desk lied they will be there only in 20 min when he knew well there is nobody on yet to help me. When I drove inAGAIN to get the creamer. He handed me coffee tickets but was dismissive rather than apologetic. It was supposed to be luxurious end to our road trip. But it was the worst out of 6
Clean, upscale and customer service is a priority
10.0I would highlight that customer service is outstanding, the property is beautiful and clean. We were greeted initially by Loyalty Ambassador Myken who welcomed us via email and gathered stay information to help with our needs. Check-in was a pleasure and the bell staff extremely helpful with getting around the large resort. Our casita was spotless and well appointed with hairdryer, in-room safe, iron and standard toiletries plus extra pillows and plenty of towels. The grounds were beautifully manicured with nice walking paths. On site dining was delicious with varied menus and the service at each was excellent. Wonderful stay, would definitely recommend!
Incredible 4 day relaxing stay
10.0My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Tucson Omni in May. We had two events to celebrate, my wife's birthday and our daughter's graduation. Communication I'd like to call out as exceptional. In the days and weeks leading up to our stay, Myken Dahlen reached out numerous times to ensure we were all set. She was able to confirm a one-tier upgrade prior to our arrival through the Amex program we booked with. Upon arrival, she met us in the lobby to welcome us to the property and tell us about the amenities. Throughout our stay, numerous staff members reached out to make sure we were happy. When we made it to our room, we found some very nice gifts for my wife's birthday, to include a unique bottle of wine I had mentioned as one of her favorites and some other thoughtful presents. Service and care were top notch from this team, who frequently went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure a pleasurable stay. That night we had our best meal of the stay at Bob's steakhouse. Food and drink were exceptional, albeit expensive, though I have to admit it wasn't quite on par with the original Bob's in Dallas. We ate breakfast every day at one of the other onsite restaurants, and we ate at the pool a couple of days. These meals were good but nothing spectacular. Speaking of the pool, it was nice, with a towel attendant and full service bar and plenty of umbrellas for shade, as desired. Most days were pretty relaxing, but there were a couple that were more of a party vibe. If you're looking for more of a chill atmosphere, there's a second pool near the tennis/ pickleball courts that's usually less populated and more family friendly. The front desk also has pickleball paddles to borrow if you want to get a workout in. The main building also has a better-than-most fitness room. And, while I didn't take advantage of it, the golf course looked well-maintained and pretty forgiving, from the holes I could see. Overall, service and care were 10/10, and facilities and food were 9/10. Well done, Omni. We'll be back.
Omni resort in Tucson should not receive 4 stars, Phoenix Omni significantly better.
6.0Would not recommend. Pool bar closed Monday thru Thursday. No ice machine in hotel wing, Recliners at pool were frayed and old appearing. Need to walk to pool bar for ice and the ice machine was broken therefore needed to walk to bar for ice. Room large, nice and comfortable. Did not live up to 4 star rating. Omni resort in Phoenix much better! Not worth the money!
