like a little patch of England, with a cool colonial twist - loved the Jonathan Kingdom pictures,
10.0it felt very homely and comfortable to be here on my own - I was also training for a marathon and was able to run around the property and it felt very safe - it was just a beautiful place - loved the roaring fires and the beautiful view of Mount Kenya

10.0An oasis in Laikipia. The staff was helpful and accommodating. They really went the extra mile to make me to feel comfortable. The birdlife around the hotel is amazing - sparklings were at the edge of being too friendly during the breakfast. Can't blaim them, the breakfast was abundant and excellent. Finally, the view was stunning - during the morning hours even Mt. Kenya showed her face. Definitely a place to visit again.
