− WiFi was an issue. In order to connect you had to take your device to the lobby and connect. By the time you were back in your room it disconnected. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating.
Lovely hotel in excellent location
9.0The property is absolutely lovely, clean and the location is exceptional. We really appreciated that they provided a complimentary light breakfast in the lobby since the restaurant is closed. Irene in the breakfast area was particularly friendly, kind and helpful! The check-in staff also made it possible for our family members to have rooms right across the hall from each other despite not having booked together - a thoughtful move.
− Not a huge deal, but it was a bummer there is no restroom available to use on the ground or first floors (I imagine because the restaurant is closed currently). Both when we arrived before check-in time and dropped bags, and also left bags with concierge at check-out and our flight was in the evening - we needed to use the facilities and that was quite a production and not convenient. Also, we didn't realize when we booked the room-type we had, that a luggage rack was not available to us nor any drawers in the room. I called front desk to request a luggage rack and was informed that they are available with the next room-size-up - 20 pounds more a night. So we passed and asked for extra hangers, which they provided.
My first time to London and the Rathbone Hotel was a large part of a wonderful experience.
