Everyone here is so incredibly kind and makes you feel right at home, the huts are beautifully nestled into the lush gardens and the dinner at the firehouse was a very special experience. There's nothing but nature sounds and quiet happiness here.

Sten lodge is a real gen. Beautiful but simple cabina, beautiful and kind staff, delicious food and good sigt seeing options nearby, which you do need a car to visit. Options for activities at Sten Lodge are also great but you may need to book in advance . The etnis behind the lodge is really special, creating a most memorable experience . Dont rush your stay, take time to absorb the place.

L’accueil, la nourriture, l’ambiance, le cadre, on a adoré regarder les dames faire des Ikat.

− Pas de Sdb dans la chambre. Ce qui n’est pas un du tout un problème en soi, mais vu le prix, habituellement nous avons les toilettes dans la chambre.

Hera was lovely and did a really nice job at explaining our food to us. The room was clean and the garden was nice.

− Communication could have been better. We arrived and were shown to our room (which didn’t have power) so we just sat in the dark for 2 hours wondering what was going on. We had to find the bathroom (which is communal) ourselves, and although we had ordered dinner we had no idea where to find it. There was no signal so we couldn’t even text the host, who walked past us sitting in the dark and said a quiet hello but nothing else because she was busy filming something. In the morning we forgot to order breakfast in advance so they said they couldn’t provide us with any food. So we trekked to a nearby cafe and luckily they were able to serve us even though they were closed. We booked a cooking class which was lovely but we barely did anything. We just ground some ingredients and then went and sat outside while they cooked the rest for us. I’d like to be a bit more involved seeing as we paid for a class, not just a meal.

Its very secluded but authentic n natural. Just loves the vibes!
