2.0This location chose to call a service dog a pet and attempt to count them toward the pet designation and cite a non-existent ordinance in Akron regarding the number of pets allowed in a hotel room. Red Roof website stated 3 pets were allowed to stay but when that was shown to them, they said their policy had changed and even went so far as to kick another couple out after they lodged a complaint with Red Roof corporate in the wee hours of the morning. Do better. Far better options available in the area.

2.0This property was dirty had roaches in the tub, water did not work, no heat, the rooms smelled like smoke in a smoke free room, charges a 100 deposit for a 67.00 rate and did not get my deposit back, booked double queen beds and was given a king bed for 4 people because they didn’t have any rooms available. The list of things can go on. If I could give them no stars I would.

No for Family, more of a place to have quick sex
2.0Checked in went to the room with my wife room was in very very poor condition. AC VENTS were filthy hadn’t been cleaned in years. Wife pulled back the covers on the bed sheets looked worn and not clean in less than 15 minutes. We decided to leave went back to tell the night clerk we could not stay there because of the room condition was offered another room we said no we’re going someplace else. He refuse to refund the room deposit and the cost of the room $170.00 I checked they advertise these rooms on hotels.com for $50 or $60. We checked into another hotel. These people are not honest people once you check in and give payment they will not refund your money the keep the deposit and the cost of the room. There was a lot of activity going on in the parking lot and room. to room very suspicious and I know a hooker when I see one an older white man was checking in with a much younger black woman, who knows could’ve been his wife, but I wouldn’t let my wife go out with boobs exposed in shorts up the crack of their you know what. Don’t even think about staying here unless it’s one of those short recreational stays with the opposite sex or same sex for that matter.
