Excellent location right across from the circular church, good breakfast right next door.
8.0Friendly owner, Juan Antonio, who runs the artisan shop downstairs selling Montefrio cheese and wines from nearby, room was very comfortable and neighbours were quiet at night (unusual !). The room we had included a lovely, very private patio outside. A nice touch. Alberto owns the Fonda bar just opposite the shop, great guy ! This whitewashed town is so lovely we bought a house there while staying !
− A kettle and coffee/sugar/milk packets would have been nice for morning, without going downstairs.

− Me decepcionó el pueblo. Había leído sobre montefrio y me esperaba algo diferente . Acostumbrado a los pueblos de la sierra de Cádiz, no tiene nada que ver.

− Las sábanas, aun estando limpias tenían manchas antiguas de origen claramente identificables , deberían retirarse de la circulación.
