Beautiful property!

The hotel looks like it may have been something quite special… some time ago. At the moment it needs some investment to bring it back. It is a positive for future guests to see scaffolding up at various places around the hotel, but also not a great experience for current guests who were not made aware of the construction work prior to arrival. Our room was dated and smelt odd, the ioniser humming away on the chair as we entered the room a sign of something not quite right. From a property perspective, this does not feel 5 star at the moment. The staff on the other hand were extremely professional and deserve special mention.

Our First Family Trip in Singapore

After our Disney Cruise, we decided to spend a few more days in Singapore for a relaxing family getaway. It was our first time staying in Sentosa, and choosing Sofitel Singapore Sentosa was definitely the right decision. From the moment you drive through the resort entrance, you feel as though you've been transported to Phuket or Bali. Surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful surroundings. The hospitality was exceptional throughout our stay. Every team member we met—from the Front Office and Housekeeping to the restaurant staff and even the public area attendants—was warm, friendly, and always greeted us with a smile. Their attention to detail made our stay even more memorable. Special Thanks to Vibhuti, Specially, Rey, Vivian, Huey Vun, Sunny, Eric, Sky, they're all amazing We truly enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle, I would highly recommend Sofitel Sentosa. We will definitely be back!

->Area and Surroundings: We choose Sofitel Sentosa for our 2 Nights stay in the island. The idea was to cover the famous attractions nearby like Water world, Universal studio, Luge and other sows the island has to offer. I must say that it was a great decision to be staying at Sofitel for that. The hotel is very accessible to Resort world and there are regular shuttle buses organized by hotel to and from RwS. The property itself is very pristine and quote, offering unmatched relaxation and soothing vibes throughout the stay. As you enter there is a very beautiful and Instagram able lobby and on the right side the reception is equally vibrant and colorful. In the entire property there are so many spots where you can have such lovely pictures and make beautiful memories. ->Room: We booked a family suite room, but were upgraded to a set of Suite room internally attached to a Deluxe room by hotel compliments. I must stay, it was like living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We had 2 full bedrooms with attached bathroom and a big and beautiful living room in the middle. All the 3 rooms were very artistically designed and were very lit with natural light as well as ample light at night hours as well. I also must add that the rooms were very spacious with huge wardrobes which makes the hotel also very convenient for long stays. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The rooms were connected with a small gallery which had its own door. This area also doubles as a space for putting your shoes , extra luggage etc. In the suite room, it had a sofa setup and a coat hanger whereas in Deluxe room we had a working desk with a chair. All modern amenities like a capsule coffee machine, a water kettle, a safety box and bar glasses, a mini refrigerator, hair dryer etc. The hotel is using all premium brands like TWG for its guests. ->Bathroom and Bathing experience: The bathroom were so clean, shiny and colorful. The use of mosaic tiles from ceiling to the floor and sweeping out was something I had not seen before. A separate glass enclosure for Shower and WC makes the bathroom more useful and practical. Though the size was not too big but still the bathroom also packed a deep sink tub where one can unwind after a day of long walks from Universal/ Resort world/ simply the beach. Bathing water pressure and temperature was perfect. The water tub in the room was an icing on the cake to unwinding entire days tiredness by soaking yourself in the same. The niches created on the side with hanging figurines gave the bathroom a modern ultra luxurious finish. Not to miss the bronze fish clothes hangers and quirky one liners on the glass to add the zing. ->Hotel Staff: Extremely polite, welcoming, interactive and warm, check-in and checkout was a breeze. The service was quick and crisp at all times of day and even late at night. The hotel staff was very attentive for guiding the guests for the buses and also comforting them in porting IN and OUT for the luggage. ->Breakfast: The hotel has a superb spread at its buffet restaurant. The sweep in spread indoor as well as outdoor. With so many varieties one can definitely find lot of food options to choose from. The restraint also has a covered outdoor sitting for those who want to enjoy natural weather in the morning time. ->Swimming Pool / Gym / Spa: Me and my family really enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel has a huge outdoor swimming pool, the pool depth gradually reduces making it suitable for adults and kids at the same time. There is life guard on duty in the advised timings. There is a poolside bar which can give coolers and Aperol. And also a full-fledged bar which can be accessed just a few steps up. The pool had adequate sun beds and table chairs for several people to sit and relax. On the side oof the pool there are stairways to go to Tanjong Beach. The ones who are enthusiasts must try it out. Guests can also enjoy Raffles pool if they wish to do so. The property is adjacent but one has to use the back gate to get directly into Raffles pool area. ->Special mention: Wifi speed was good all through the property. The hotel has a fish spa pond which is 24 hours and free for all guests. Also there are two specialty restaurants, for which I was not able to try during my visit but both had great reviews. Also, the property has an open layout and it rains so often, but I must add that the staff was so prompt that all through they cleaned and mopped the floor dry very quickly making it safe for the guests to walk. The hotel provided premium toiletries for the kids and the General Manager also sent a box of sweets for us and the kids. This is such a kind and thoughtful gesture. It is much appreciated.

Great staycation

Stayed here for 2 nights. Dog-friendly hotel with great facilities. The staff were friendly overall, and the rooms were very nice and recently renovated. Dined at Kwee Zeen, which turned out to be surprisingly good. The only criticism, if I had to give one, is that the gym was not on the hotel grounds, and we had to travel elsewhere for it.
